
The entire King family came up for a dinner. The first use of the new porch for an event. The railing is not quite done but we still had a great time.
Desert Weyr is a small sustainable family farm in Western Colorado. We raise Black Welsh Mountain sheep, a few chickens and also have Arabian horses.


With the loom assembled the next step was to tie it up and get it ready for warping. Margaret, Monica and Elena all helped me learn how to tie everything up and set it up for weaving. Here they are doing their spinning, naalbinding and knitting after we got the loom tied up. 
Here they are getting the bikes ready for some test riding.
